v1 desktop build of the Laditos AI Mass Notification Strategy PRD, with base mass-notification functionality modeled on Everbridge.
Run the complete flow
- 1Open New notification, name it and set the severity: Informational, Advisory or Urgent.
- 2Choose the audience by selecting districts on the map or by picking contact groups. Review who is excluded and why.
- 3Select channels, a template, the variables, the response mode (none, confirm or poll) and the schedule.
- 4Pass the release checks. The operator submits for review, the reviewer approves the frozen revision, then the operator releases it.
- 5Follow the send in Delivery & activation. Pause, cancel the remainder, export the report or create a follow-up for undelivered recipients or non-responders.
- 6Maintain the directory in Contacts & groups, the message bodies in Templates and the limits, quiet hours and roles in Settings.
Send a real SMS through the demo API
- 1Open demo-sms-api/, read the README and copy .env.example to .env.
- 2Start the service with node server.js. It listens on http://localhost:8787 in dry-run mode.
- 3In Settings, enter the base URL and API key under Demo service API and select Connect.
- 4In the composer, set the delivery mode to Demo API, load the API audience and follow the normal review and release steps.
- 5To send real SMS, set DRY_RUN=false with Twilio credentials, add your test numbers to the allowlist and point the Twilio status and inbound webhooks at the service.

Boundaries
Simulation mode has no server, credentials, persistence, provider calls or real sends. Every figure is synthetic.
Demo API mode sends SMS only to the operator's own test list and the service allowlist. WhatsApp stays in simulation.
Processing must satisfy the Data Protection Act 2017: lawful basis per campaign, notices, purpose limitation, security and data-subject rights. Confirm the controller, the authority record and any cross-border transfer with local counsel.
Cyclone and other life-safety warnings are issued by the Mauritius Meteorological Services and the NDRRMC. This tool carries service notices; it is not an emergency broadcast system.
